UnitedHealth also called in some favors. A day after Amazon’s move, UnitedHealth asked Trump’s Securities and Exchange Commission to allow it to block votes on shareholder proposals requiring the company to 1) audit previous customer denial claims to see if they were inaccurate and 2) disclose “how often prior authorization requirements or denials of coverage lead to delay or abandonment of medical treatment.” UnitedHealth has among the highest claim denial rates in the country.
Like I know similar things have happened since time immemorial, but when was the last time we've had such an easily persuadable president?

As a libertarian, I would think you'd have a lot more concern about Musk's amalgamation of relatively unchecked power. Just out of principle
Out of principle, I am against the unchecked power of the administrative state. But the process of rooting out corruption definitely needs to be done with transparency within the law.
whoa whoa whoa, is this real? Is this twitter or Truth Social?
If it is, imagine how orgasmic Trump must feel to be able thoroughly debase the world's richest man after he's done so much for him.

That's been around for a long time. Pretty sure it is real. It is definitely accurate.

I think I've seen similar tweets, but if this one is recent then that seems like an insult after all the bidding Musk has done for him.

And none of those conditions are being met right now.
I haven't watched that yet--will when I get a few minutes. But I'll just say I'm shocked there haven't been more injunctions issued. No doubt some of that is a function of the quantity EO's being issued. Still, go file a suit and get an emergency injunction doesn't seem like that would be so hard.
And here's another one. I think the 4th thing blocked by the courts so far.

That's a respectable position. I think he agree that power needs criticism and oversight, regardless of its incarnation. With the current dynamics, it is a hydra of bureaucracies running amok, but rather MAGA using their political power to claim more for itself, under the guise of hard-to-shallow, but thought out and well-indented austerity. Trump and his cronies have shown consistently that they don't deserve the benefit of the doubt. And auditing, budgeting cutting etc requires real planning and intellect. It needs a computer not a sloppy abacas to use. That's not what is happening.
If you were part of the crowd that was (somewhat justifiably) concerned about Hillary and her sloppy infosec, what is happening now with DOGE should render you apoplectic
