And he wants you to accept that and go along with it. But much of what he is doing is unconstitutional and will be overturned or blocked as long as people fight it head on.

It is only 14 minutes. Highly recommended. You can get it on any podcast service. Here is a transcript:

Here is the full thing on video:

I haven't watched that yet--will when I get a few minutes. But I'll just say I'm shocked there haven't been more injunctions issued. No doubt some of that is a function of the quantity EO's being issued. Still, go file a suit and get an emergency injunction doesn't seem like that would be so hard.

Of course there will be corruption. Have you never dealt with the federal government? We don't know how wide spread it is. Maybe there is very little. But there will no doubt be some NGOs up to shenanigans. Sunlight is the best disenfectant. The Politico stuff has already been an egg on the face moment for Musk. It will break both ways.

Please. I have been out for over 20 years, but just in my little realm of battalion staff there was a lot of fat to cut. I hope those cheering DOGE now cheer just as loudly when the axe falls at the pentagon.

See, that's the problem when one uses a chainsaw, we have no idea who is getting shown the door. That is why Elon and MAGA want to portray the whole of USAID as some kind of corrupt "money laundering" organization funneling cash to "wokeness." It is complete and utter bullshit. Government agencies face audits and oversight by the Congress which sends them the money. They spend the money in line with the elected Administration's policy agenda. Just three years ago Marco Rubio was telling Biden to send USAID MORE money. Now he's Elon's hand puppet talking about all the corruption. Again, it is complete and utter bullshit.

There is a process to guard against and cut corruption. It works pretty well. The biggest hassles I encountered in spending government money were all the hoops one had to jump through to get it done. If they are serious about really cutting out corruption, they would use it. And let Congress engage on some oversite. Instead these jokers are too afraid not to agree with Elon.

You want to cut corruption, get Elon Musk out of government. He has billions of dollars before the government, he should have no place in it.
            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

There is a process to find corruption. Use it. This isn't at all transparent, but has Elon Must driving a narrative that benefits him. He's a liar and a cheat. Pretty clear evidence of that.

I'm not sure why you extend such goodwill towards Musk. This isn't about rooting out the "corrupt." It's about empowering the politically loyal and passive.

It's about creating less friction for an out of control executive wannabe king for life. And hypocritically it is all being done without much transparency and without complete legality.

As a libertarian, I would think you'd have a lot more concern about Musk's amalgamation of relatively unchecked power. Just out of principle

And with power not granted by the Constitution, which Trump and Musk through their actions really seem to want to take down.

Out of every use of AI ever, this is the most boneheaded.

Ok, let's get real. No organization this large and complex has ever passed an audit. You write that as though it should be an easy thing.

I can tell you first hand that they are making significant progress with significant pain. A part of that stems from lacking appropriate systems in place that were even auditable. So they forced a square peg into a round hole and bastardized SAP to attempt to meet Congress's mandate. That was fun.

                          • This whole Gaza Wonderland idiocy is just a side show and distraction, but the tired old man has some very clear logic. Ask repubs about it and they are all, "Yeah, sounds good, should be discussed and considered." Bunch of cowards.

Elon Musk has a kid that used an AI program to translate ancient texts to help you out with all of that.
