                In a few years some smart people are going to do analysis on the DOGE experiment and conclude that the whole adventure will have actually cost US taxpayers billions of dollars.

                                    Don't really like this. State and local governments doing inspections? Aside from the potential for different levels of quality, it's a strategy to move the financial burden to the states. I would assume that certain economies of scale would be captured via a national system.
