I saw someone the other day say you either fight to the right of Trump, or fight for the independent vote. You can't do both.
DeSantis is fighting for the Qanon vote. Well at least that's what his wife says:

I actually think that message has broad appeal although I think it targets Trumpers. Most moderate conservatives will get behind the points listed at the end.Comment

Girls Sports Saved (People on the left are concerned about this as well.)
Broad appeal.

What are we talking about with child mutilation? Hasn’t that always been illegal? Is this talking about medical procedures on trans kids? That’s my best guess.
The girls sports thing is concerning for me, but about #525854 in importance, not really something for the president to address anyways. Local leaders and sports governing bodies are the ones that need to figure this out.
The grievances and all the bogeymen have zero pull for me. Give me someone who is going to work on solutions to make the country a better place and brings the country together. I’m sick of this stuff that is tearing us apart.

There's obviously a culture war. Moderates on both sides are starting to wake up to it. The moderates are also waking up to what a loud portion of the trans community wants to be able to do to your kids. Sex changes and unnecessary hormone therapy for minors = child mutilation.
