He also said he thought a lot of migrants' asylum claims were bogus and being used to get into the U.S. under false pretenses. He said he would use "executive action" to crack down on the asylum process, "where we will not entertain those claims."

I see he is following in Trump's footsteps to grind the entire immigration system to more of a halt than it already is by proposing a litany of unconstitutional measures that will be immediately challenged in court...

I'm guessing he is talking about working with Panama to stop those coming from Venezuela. I'm no Desantis fan, but I'm guessing they poorly worded their summary in the article.

That's funny. I'm winning cases from Venezuela (which... defensive cases are next to impossible in most jurisdictions, so this fact is remarkable) because THEIR SITUATION IS FKING HORRIBLE. But yes, I think most Americans are pining for a King Herod kind of leader!
