    Newsom would destroy him.

Newsom is setting himself up as the next Democrat nominee following Biden.

My guess is that he runs for Feinstein's senate seat, wins, and then is in a perfect position for 2028.

Unless Biden dies and then he would step up to the plate sooner.

I think Newsome handles him in a debate.

It’s going to be a blood bath. Newsome does some really dumb things but he is a really good debater. He destroyed Sean Hannity Reecently.

Grievances. MAGA folks eat that up.

          • Pence has finally found an opening with the new indictment, seemingly showing some courage to speak out against Trump. Yet here he is, unable to say he won’t support the guy who tried to coerce him to do something unconstitutional. Pathetic.

True, but the last few days it seemed like he was trending Christie-esque, albeit slightly. Returning to his norm now I guess.

                • I haven't read much about Vivek Ramaswamy but this statement is so monumentally stupid and wrong as to be disqualifying:

“The purpose of the U.S. military [is] to advance American interests, to protect the homeland. Not to aimlessly fight some random war that’s arguably a repayment for a private bribe that a family member of the United States received, $5 million from Burisma,” said Ramaswamy, speaking at a campaign event to a crowd of about 60 Iowans in Council Bluffs.

Yesterday on Twitter someone was raving about how smart he is. In fact, he is an idiot. And a dangerous one at that. But he doesn't have a shot so maybe not so dangerous.

The sometimes overt, sometimes more subtle pro-Russia stances of the far right make no logical sense for an American to have. Trump I get in a way because it comes down to his personal business interests and reverence for dictators. But for the rest of the party that has turned that way it makes little sense. But they don’t generally say good things about China, which is nonsensical because the US deferring to Russia and refusing to stand up for liberty in the world can only help the Chinese communist party who runs China.

I think he is aiming to be Trump's running mate. I think he is intelligent but just lying. I'm sure plenty of Russian dark money continues to flow into the GOP, which also helps.

Matt Gaetz, Madison Cawthorn, Tulsi Gabbard, Ron and Rand Paul, Ron DeSantis, Patrick Byrne, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Mike Lee, Richard Spencer, RFK Jr., Jordan Peterson etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tim Ballard is sympathetic to Russia

A deep and varied bench of dipshitery.

Bari Weiss has a really good interview with him on her podcast. He does come across as intelligent and he has some hood positions, but his bad positions make him unelectable. After listening to the podcast I would definitely vote for Biden over him.

I'd be curious to know how he'd govern as I truly believe he is just an opportunist. He is being pumped up by some pretty bad actors like Charlie Cook and Bannon. Bannon is also a big fan of RFK JR and he seems legit dumb.

I agree with him being an opportunist. I don’t think he’s sincere and Bari really dug into that and didn’t let him off easy. In some way, I think he’s just a bored 37 year old rich person that wants some exposure and popularity. I mean, the guy didn’t even vote until a couple years ago and I’m supposed to believe he all of the sudden is concerned about politics.
