        Sorry, I've been reading too much CB and listening to my FIL rant about BYU's persecution too much lately (we've been staying with my in-laws the last couple of weeks). That's why the last line of my sig has recently become inflamed. I'll try to remember where I am and tone it down.

                I guess that mitigates the risk to the broadcaster. What would the downsides be of adding a school?

                Given the upheaval of the past two weeks, I wonder if the Big 12 will consider expansion for a while; at least until the TV contract ends.

                  Speaking of jumping ship... what is the MWC exit clause? I thought it was getting the votes of all the other members of the conference or something like that.

                    no exit clause or penalty. You give notice by Sept 1 and you are good to go.

                      Any team can leave the MWC at anytime without penalty.

                      I'm not sure what it takes to kick someone out.
