It doesn't have to something carefully planned we can stumble into disaster with shitty "leadership" like Hegseth. Trump is putting himself on a god damned coin and we renamed the department of war the department of defense

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
Ha ha, he's so funny with his libtard pwning about Trump 2028. Can't the country take a joke?
President Trump on Tuesday received and discussed a draft copy of a book by lawyer Alan Dershowitz that studies whether Trump could constitutionally serve a third term as commander in chief, according to the veteran legal adviser.
In an interview Wednesday with The Wall Street Journal, Dershowitz said he told Trump the Constitution wasn’t clear on the issue.
In a meeting in the Oval Office, Dershowitz handed Trump a draft of the book, titled “Could President Trump Constitutionally Serve a Third Term?,” which is set to be published next year. Dershowitz said the book lays out a host of scenarios in which an individual could serve a third term.
Dershowitz said Trump told him that he planned to read the book and asked him about his conclusions on serving for a third term. The Constitution bars anyone from being elected to the White House more than twice.
“I said ‘it’s not clear if a president can become a third term president and it’s not clear if it’s permissible,’” said Dershowitz, who previously served as a defense lawyer for the president during his first term while Trump was impeached by Congress.
"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Yeah, if I had voted for him, I wouldn't admit it either, because then I would look pretty silly complaining about him.
I know this may be hard for you lefties or whatever you want to call yourself. But, a person can not vote for Trump and still agree with some of his policies and disagree with other policies and find his unfiltered mouth to be another embarrassing character for our President.
I know it can be complicated and the idea of anyone supporting him and not goes against yours and other lefties MAGA stereotype. But there it is.
At any rate, I really don’t give a shit what you think or assume.
I am confused about what Oil, Land, and other Assets the Venezuelans have stolen from us. Perhaps "dabrockster" can illuminate us on that point.
I think you are bright enough to know the answer to this and one has already provided the answer. But perhaps you can ask her. She made the statement. I merely provided an opinion to one who has more knowledge than all of us on Venezuela but.. I hear war mongering and this is worse than Iraq (That is rather extreme)..

I'm not sure why you are saying point the warmonger is worse than what proceeding the Iraq was worse is extreme. Maybe you disagree with it, but I'm happy to express why I think it's worse.
Big difference between the two. The Saudis, for the most part, bought out American investors. Venezuela just took it all. Apples and oranges.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

No need to explain. I think your back and forth on why you think this is worse than Iraq was made in previous communication with others. I completely disagree at this point. I also provided a video of the opposition leader who spoke in-depth about Maduro and what he is doing and who he has allowed into the country and the support of terrorist organizations. So, the topic of the drugs is one thing but I think this runs deeper. As she has pointed out. Do I think the oil -rich country of Venezuelan play a key part. Yep. Lots of reasons. Either way, her input and opinion matters so her supporting this. Adds more to this.

The subject of drugs is something I have a lot of insight on. An invasion of Venezuela isn't going to solve addiction issues. So I don't think that serves as anything close to a solid rational factor.
Saddam and Iraq had previously been a belligerent and they had been making WMDs.
Maduro is awful and of course opposition leaders want him gone. Saddam gassed the Kurds and oppressed the Shia. If that were a motivator, there are other nations that would better merit liberation like Sudan.
The war on drugs is only partly about addiction. If they go after the growing, manufacturing, and distribution points, I'm fine with it. Venezuela is definitely involved in smuggling and possibly the manufacturing. They also send their worst gang bangers over here to deal drugs and engage in other crimes.

we had no doubt, trump did it so of course youre fine with it
After Trump fired all of the longstanding board of directors of The JFK Center for the Performing Arts, replacing them with his sycophants, they have renamed the building the Trump Kennedy Center. Disgusting, narcissistic, and unprecedented for a sitting president to have anything named after him while still in office. I hope Trump donates his ego to science for post-mortem study.
