(I think he's really trying to sell tickets to the Willamette Country Music Festival in Brownsville.)

You did a good job in that video. You didn't look at the camera, and you didn't linger too long on your fist bump with Valencia.

Did you feel guilty having that small girl carry your clubs? I hope you paid her well.

Is that your driver with the yellow shaft? At one point it looked like your kinda hot chick caddie was talking during your backswing.

I knew I should have gotten on this site more recently. I shot a 44 on the front 9 of the lakes course at Mountain Dell. I shot a 46 on the back 9. IOW, 90 on 18 at Mountain Dell despite triple bogey on 18. I can't remember what the day was but it looks like I lost my bet and owe lunch. The good news is, I'm really owning golf from my 3 wood through my putter. The driver is as inconsistent as a 12 year old girl.

FTR, 90 is not breaking 90 (Which i thought was the bet).

It sounds like you've had a remarkable rise from never played, crap golfer to better than the majority of the rest of us duffers.

In other words, I hate your stupid guts.

                Playing Report May 23, 2012

                36+43=79

Was going home yesterday and stopped at a so/so course and played 9 holes and 2 balls. As it was on the verge of raining, there was no one in front or behind me, and I played in 1:45. I straight up played two balls, (Bridgestone e6 and Callaway Diablo HX Tour) and had 11 pars and 7 bogey's. While the score looks OK, I had to scramble like crazy, and was fortunate to make par 3 times on putts more than 8 feet. For some reason (maybe cold air at 57*) my yardage was off, and by the end of the round I was clubbing up a club. Shot of the day was a 5 wood from 210 to ten feet left, pin high. Just missed the birdie.

Saturday will be in the 70's and so will I.

Sorry, but I've gotta bust your balls on this; that doesn't count as a legit score. While you may have only taken 79 strokes, there is an undeniable benefit of being able to hit two consecutive drives, two consecutive irons, etc. Not to mention the benefit of being able to gauge the speed of each individual green.

I agree - its not an official score, and I didn't report it. I played it though, and in the spirit of recording my rounds and scores, posted it.

One thing I can say about my rounds, is that when I play in the Men's Club on Saturday's, those are by the book rounds where you have to putt out, and when you go OB or lost ball, you have to go back to the tee losing stroke and distance. I'm pretty sure that most of the scores reported here are little loose regarding distance loss, and the odd mulligan here and there. Which I wouldn't call someone out on.

I'd call them out on it if they openly admitted it.

I don't recall and am too lazy to look up the bet but my goal was to hit 90 by June and I hit it in the beginning of May. My new goal is 80 by September.

wtf, KDog picks up golf and a couple months later he's breaking 90?

                            This is bullshit.

Yeah, and on the flip side when you're hitting two balls you're playing fast, so you sometimes hit the wrong club or you don't spend enough time gauging a putt. I go out and play two balls a lot and I think I play about the same.
