I don't know the Tacoma area real well as I tried to avoid it mostly, but we have some relatives in Puyallup and their neighborhood is nice.
I've heard Gig Harbor is nice, and it's apparently somewhere near Tacoma, but I'm not entirely sure where that is either. I've also heard University Place is nice and packed with Mormons. This might come as a shock, but I'm not really sure where it is.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Well they actually have to offer me the job first but it is looking that way.

Sounds like you have a nice grip on the place.

        • I walk in the door last night after getting home from work, check out the mail sitting on the counter and think "Eyring on the cover of the Ensign this month". Then I did a double-take.

If the lawyer thing doesn't work out, I have a feeling your could be a real estate agent for the greater Puget Sound.

Seriously! This whole month I've been out of seattle exactly once, and that was to go to the airport last weekend.

                  • The band of our high school near our subdivision does a fundraiser where they put out flags for every patriotic holiday (similar to the fundraiser a lot of scout troops do). We don't participate for three reasons: (1) our kids (and most of the ward) will attend a different high school so we support their fundraisers; (2) we have our own flag that we put out; and (3) they clearly don't follow the etiquette rules associated with flying the flag. On etiquette, they always put the flags out 1-2 days before the holiday and don't pick up the flags until 1-2 days after the holiday. They also leave them out there in torrential storms. I'm not a huge stickler on this stuff so I'd participate if it were our high school.

However, the flags that were put up for Memorial Day are still up...well the ones that haven't fallen down due to the crazy storms that hit the area this past week. I'm wondering if they are just going to leave them up until Flag Day....which seems like crossing the line a bit when it comes to proper flag flying. Maybe I'm just old and cranky, but I'm almost to the point that I feel like I should call someone (like the person in charge of the band or the HOA) to see if they are ever going to pick up the flags.

2 weeks later and I'm in agony. Following visits with both my dentist and endodontist it turns out I have TMD. I see a specialist tomorrow. 1-10 scale my pain currently is at an 8 and here at work I sit. This may belong in Waup narco thread but I'm taking Percoset 10's every 4 hours and getting little to no relief. I hate the way narcotics obscure the pain for maybe 15 min and make you delirious for at least 4 hours.
