Do you know if the Heaps parents are still local or are they heading out, too? It was my understanding that the mom worked locally. What did the dad do for work? Was he local as well?Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostIt's because there are no innocent parties here. Players. Coaches. Family members. It's one big gigantic cluster.Fitter. Happier. The person I talked to didn't know if the mom was going to follow Jake out to Kansas, but hopefully for his sake he can make a clean break with everything and everyone.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostDo you know if the Heaps parents are still local or are they heading out, too? Before I lower the boom of personal judgment I shld probably know what the average participation / attendance rate is. I don't know what Heaps did wrong out in Provo besides that bad fumble against the Yutes. However, he seems to be keeping his mouth shut and approaching his move to Lawrence like a pro. This is the first decent interview I've seen outta him from the Red Legger point of view. Nice start. Too bad he doesn't get a shot at the tiggers.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postwhy arent we getting both sides of this story? where is the interview with heaps allowing him to explain his off-season behavior?

Wait, you would want your team to have a shot at beating the "tiggers", right?Originally posted by Red Legger View PostToo bad he doesn't get a shot at the tiggers.

I really feel bad for Heaps. He's in a crappy situation, perhaps worse than he would have been at BYU.
