He is just as schizophrenic as the fans.

It's because there are no innocent parties here. Players. Coaches. Family members. It's one big gigantic cluster.

Do you know if the Heaps parents are still local or are they heading out, too? It was my understanding that the mom worked locally. What did the dad do for work? Was he local as well?

The person I talked to didn't know if the mom was going to follow Jake out to Kansas, but hopefully for his sake he can make a clean break with everything and everyone.

Before I lower the boom of personal judgment I shld probably know what the average participation / attendance rate is. But that just seems egregious and - if I were one of the guys slugging my guts out for most or all of those sessions I'd find it pretty hard to follow the kid as well.
where is this article? I looked on the desnews site and couldn't find it.

Oh I'm sure you could do it daily if you wanted to. I've seen you do this kind of thing before. Will never mean you're right, though.

I don't know what Heaps did wrong out in Provo besides that bad fumble against the Yutes. However, he seems to be keeping his mouth shut and approaching his move to Lawrence like a pro. This is the first decent interview I've seen outta him from the Red Legger point of view. Nice start. Too bad he doesn't get a shot at the tiggers.

Wait, you would want your team to have a shot at beating the "tiggers", right?

Til my last days, though, I'll be at the front of the koolaid line when it concerns Red Leggers on the gridiron.

                          • I really feel bad for Heaps. He's in a crappy situation, perhaps worse than he would have been at BYU.
