Just don't get orgasmic over anything Heaps does in practice. I bet he'll do better at attending voluntary summer workouts, so you all've got that going for you.
Perhaps the summer workouts are all he needs? If it works and he repeats his freshman year in 2013 in Kansas Memorial Stadium, I'll take it. Like I said, he's better than anything we've got now.
We don't really try. We generally go thru the motions so we can keep our end of the bargain in the Big 12, make gobs of money, spend it on the MBB recruiting budget and enjoy the Final Four. That's always been good enough to go 0.500 w/ the Slavers in football and kick their arse in MBB. Much more enjoyable than watching Drinkle try to drive his pick-up truck or First Round Frank lose to Norfolk State. Don't you think?

I'm honestly happy for you and your basketball program. It's nice that there's something that's redeeming about the state of Kansas. I mean, seriously, outside of an occasional successful run in basketball, other than a bit of a temperature difference, you might as well be talking about the state of North Dakota when you talk about Kansas.

Now that we've given you a 5 Star stud in football, how about you send us one in basketball. I'd take just one of your 5 star guys and I won't even be picky about the position.
Ya'll are spoiled. Outside of Todd Reesing, we rarely have seen a QB complete a pass accross the LOS. That's all we're expecting. If the kid can do that, he'll be an improvement.

Somewhere in the distance, John Hadl is weeping. I know it was 50 years ago, but the man was an all-American QB for Kansas (and an all-American RB the previous year). He also had a good NFL career.

Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

We don't even need a 5-star guy. Elijah Johnson would be just fine.
Key Heaps play at around 40 seconds. It is worth your time to watch Pierson's run at 1:40. He is the fastest guy in the Big 12.

The kid's a veritable all-american spring game 1st team selection.
Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

How many times did Heaps get hit? Or perhaps a better question would be, on how many snaps did he even have to worry about the possibility of getting hit?

Yeah that really bothered him in the Utah game in 2010 playing with his broken ribs, something happened in 2011 he lost all confidence in the offense. I don't think he always has been and always will be a wuss about contact.
And we all know if there was an open QB competition he'd be our starter going into next year, but Bronco wasn't going to let that happen.
