    Point is that Kansas has potential - it wasn't that long ago that the Jayhawks played in a BCS bowl game. Wonder if Jake Heaps has second thoughts about Washington back when he was being recruited out of HS. In 2008, the Huskies went winless but that didn't define the program since Washington has potential and wasn't always that bad. The Huskies are now playing in back-to-back bowl games. Same can be said of Kansas - I think Kansas can be as successful as Washington...or BYU.

      You mean the kansas that has been to a total of 12 bowl games and has 5 all americans in 121 seasons?

        Potential! They have potential over the next 121 seasons (Or 121 days if Weis lives that long) to have 5 more all-americans and make 12 more bowl games.

                  True. He couldn't be any worse with the talent at Kansas considering he was shitty with the better talent at BYU. But he at least has a better shot at playing in a BCS game in Lawrence than he would in Provo.

                    However, it can be done. We had a 20 point lead on Baylor/Tech and blew it, should have beaten IowaState on the road and had a lead on the Slavers at half but failed to connect on one pass in the Border WAR. We have a decent Oline, some nice running backs and an all Big 12 safety. Honestly, Weis could end up looking like a dam genius over the next two years just going 6 and 6. KU's OLine, though, probably sold em. They really are better than 0 and 9.

                      For some reason, a lot of Domers blame Charlie's demise on Willingham. Something about Willingham only signing 9 players to his last class. Somewhat of a consensus over there that Weis fixed a lot of problems in recruiting but failed to get it done defensively. Great interest at KU over who will be the defensive coordinator.
