Who is Tom Cella? And why would he be in the know?
Utah Rivals Lead reporter(think CHip Brown of Utah)
"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."
"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."
"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."

I wonder if the Big 12 will remain intact. A&M may have bluffed Texas out of moving by being willing to go all the way with the SEC.

The way this is playing out is crazy. ESPN is reporting that TAMU does not even have an SEC invite yet, that the only invite the SEC has given out is to Texas.

Crazy to think that the SEC has been laying in the grass waiting for the right moment to strike. I hope the Big 12 remains intact. I hate to see the world spun on its head so dramatically. I think BYU would be the first school invited to fill in for CU/NU. AFA second?, maybe CSU?

Wow, I see this playing out two ways: A&M is pulling its weight and will convince Texas and others to stick with the Big-12 (Maybe good for for BYU) or A&M goes to the SEC and the other 4 go to the PAC-10. Either way Utah is in the PAC-10. Where is the silver lining for BYU?

Big 12 stays intact. BYU is a shoe in (IMO) for one of the 2 slots.

Slim and none. Not only not silver lining, but a swift kick to the nuts if the utes make it. Their shot is much larger than ours, it seems.
I won't come to any conclusions until I hear what our own insiders (TBS) has to say about what is going on.
I don't think TBS will have any inside info.
