You've never heard of the Daily Camera?Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostPlease yawn away. I am sure your sources are better than Dodd's and the dude that wrote the article that DDD posted. They only try and get the inside scoop on a daily basis."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

No. I really like the one I have. And JIC, I didn't know you ever used it, but i assure you it is in good hands.Originally posted by YOhio View PostCan you give JIC his avatar back?
YO, I was just thinking about your avatar this morning. You must really like creepy things. And I saw this yesterday, about "Your Five Options to Replace the Word 'Hipster:'":
I thought you should know. The search for a term to replace “hipster” in lexicons official and otherwise has come down to a final five, at least per Gawker, which has been behind the effort. Vote here for one of these options:
* Doucheoisie Won 25% of the vote in early round, and, Hamilton Nolan notes, “sounds pretty.”
* Fauxhemians It's fun to say, but "is it mean enough?"
* Pabstsmears Yes, a good play on hipsters’ fave brew, but “takes extraordinarily exact pronunciation to distinguish it from a more all-purpose slur.”
* Probos (professional hobos). “Pithy; easy to say; might actually catch on,” as plus factors. “Minus: What percentage of hipsters are professionals?”
* Trendsluts “Deliciously zingy,” Nolan notes, but “might offend sluts.”“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

This is a different question: Will the PAC-10 expand at all? I think you (and Dodd) may well be right. But if they do expand, Utah is definitely in the mix. I'm just going to wait until June 11 at 11:30 to find out.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View Posthttp://www.cbssports.com/collegefoot...hout-expansion
Dennis Dodd seems to think the Pac 10 will not expand. He was on with Bill and Spence today and thinks that Pac 10 will remain as it is today and not expand.
Dodd brought up a number of reasons why but the one that stood out the most is that he said the Pac 10 has done some extensive research and he thinks the Pac 10 has found that the addition of 2 more teams to the conference wouldn't bring them enough revenue they initially thought it would and doesn't think they want to expand. Interesting article and interesting interview.
I can't find a link to the interview. Not sure if they have put it up there. Dodd is pretty convinced that the Pac 10 won't be expanding like many believe.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

I am not saying they don't expand. I just like some of the article Dennis Dodd has done in the past and thought it was interesting that while everyone is 100% sure that the Pac 10 expanding he isn't. He brought up some good points that indicate they won't expand in the article and the interview he gave to Bill and Spence.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostThis is a different question: Will the PAC-10 expand at all? I really don't know where my stance is on this. I have no doubt that Utah has been in the discussion. They have to be. Just like BYU has to be in that discussion as well. I would love to see the Utes in the Pac 10. It would be awesome. I am just not convinced it is a done deal like many believe."Take it to the Bank"

What's wrong with that? Sounds like fun to me. I am picturing junkie at the PIE, the day of the rivalry game, with his hair dyed crimson.Originally posted by beefytee View PostAll this talk has to stop.
I had a dream last night of us all getting together at the PIE before the BYU/UTAH game.
I think the PIE has hypnotic powers.
I'm thinking that UTAH joins the Pac-10 thanks to the PIE drawing powers.
You and I agree. But a guy can dream, can't he? I mean, if I have a dream and the PIE, I am one lucky man.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostI am not saying they don't expand. No, it's the only embarrassing rout in the last 5 years. If I went back another year I could find the 52-21 rout, but I don't want to pile on. Besides, the latest embarrassing rout was over a team ranked 14th at the time.Originally posted by All-American View PostIt seems out of date. Alright we're on. btw Kyle Whittingham on 1280 said today that the the Pac-12 was a "distinct possibility". Things can always change I guess but this one looks like its going to happen.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostI'll take a bet.
