The P10 doesn't need to add non-geographic rivals. And it won't, which is why you will not see any of these contrived expansion theories coming to fruition.

My previous prediction is still that the P10 puts together a new TV deal, much like the current TV deal the B10 enjoys. Also, the P10 continues to motor on making less revenue than the SEC and B12, but being one of the strongest academic conferences out there. If the conference were to expand, it will follow its established geographic model.

Surfah's point is troublesome for you, as we are all seeing. You scoff at rumors that BYU will be invited to join, yet rely mostly on the same unsubstantiated speculation to show that Colorado will bolt. In truth, both scenarios are highly unlikely.
    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

        They're not competitive, for one.

Which is the lone argument I acknowledged for CU leaving.

That's my point. Colorado has won the Big 12 its share of times. It even won a football NC shortly before the Pac 10 offered it the first time. It played Oregon in Oregon's last BCS bowl before this year. Denver is a lot more uptown than any city in Oklahoma or Nebraska. Colorado produces a lot of good athletes. All it will take for Colorado to become competitive is a good coach. Are poeople from Colorado too stupid to realize that? I think not.

Oklahoma okay! There's a lot of glitter in Oklahoma. I know one thing, the corn is as high as an elephant's eye and the farmed cat fish is abundant.

I just don't see how the PAC10 gets any better. Maybe in a few years they can come back, but if USC goes on a down stretch, the PAC10 won't be any better than the Big leastt and ACC.

Oh yea they will brag and tell everyone how good they are. That is what elitists do and if you don't believe them it is because you are stupid.

Maybe they could join up with the Ivy League and form the WAFSCS.

SU, you should read the soonerfans.com threads I posted a month or so ago. OU fans overwhelmingly thought that BYU would be the best fit for the Big 12 and even an improvement over Colorado.

Looks like the Daily Camera is solidly behind CU and UU to the Pac 10. Darian Hagan and Gary Barnett are big supporters. Here is the DC's second installment on this fascinating subject.
