looks like there are some exceptions .... Steve Nash, David West and Jason Terry were 4 year college players that took a few years to develop in the NBA. And there are a few others, like a Tim Duncan and Grant Hill that are pretty much the same players they were right out of college.

The dude thought that he was going to be the next Carmelo Anthony (even came from B-More) at Syracuse. Hell, he even broke G-Mac's freshman record from 3 but he chucked his way there. I thought that he was going to be a helluva talent if he would have stayed in the Cuse and let Boehiem coach him a bit. Both Jonny Flynn and Donte have been disappointing. Speaking of Jimmer, in all my time at the Verizon Center, I have never EVER heard a crowd cheer as loud as when Jimmer nailed an unnecessarily long 3 in the 2nd quarter. I’ve been at the arena for close home games, for playoff games (weird, right?), and for every bandwagon/expatriate fan game you could imagine. And I’d be lying if I said any of those crowds cheered harder for their players than these BYUers cheered for Jimmer.

Jimmer still struggling to get many minutes off the bench. IT is still playing well. The guy doesn't show up until the second half though. It seems every game he starts off 1-5 or so and doing nothing in the first half before going off in the second while Jimmer watches.
I really wish the Kings would trade him. They got their arena deal. He saved Sacramento so now they can deal him.
Reading this quote about Jimmer after the Jazz game kills me:
