Started watching this on my droid here at the rec center (daughter and friends swimming). I'm 15 seconds in and a group a high schoolers stop playing basketball to watch. All Jimmer fans but mixed on University affiliation. Sure it's just South Jordan but Jimmer could negotiate peace in the Middle East.Originally posted by whoneedscorners? While pumping gas at the Pilot gas station in Dunnegan CA yesterday, a non-mo, non-BYU guy waiting for me to finish looked at my license plate covers and commented about how impressive Jimmer's 52 points were the other night. He was excited to see how he and the team were going to do on the big stage of the tourney this week.
Jimmermania = Less awkward waiting at gas station pumps in rural America.

Down in Vegas Jimmer was the topic of conversation everywhere we went. Waitresses at the Diamond Lounge, random brothas on the street, even a homeless Vietnam Vet with one leg mentioned Jimmer to me.*Banned*

Fredette may want to be careful what he wishes for. The more the hoopla builds, the more it becomes clear: When the NCAA tournament begins later this week, no player in college basketball will have as much pressure on his shoulders as Fredette.
Not that he’s feeling it.
“Jimmer has a unique ability,” T.J. Fredette said. “When he steps on the court, it’s almost like a performer stepping onto a stage. You might have had some butterflies before. But as soon as you hear the music and see the crowd, you’re completely focused on what you’re doing.
“Jimmer has the ability to step on the court and not think of anything else. He just lives in the moment and plays. It’s a gift.”Fitter. Happier. More Productive.
