Do you guys think Jimmer may be the next Jeremy Lin - a guy who was unappreciated at first, and then emerges as a star?

Like he did @ BYU? Dunno. He is doing rather well for playing on a dumpster fire of a team, however. I sure wish Jimmer got picked up by the Knicks, Suns, Jazz... basically ANYONE else.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostDo you guys think Jimmer may be the next Jeremy Lin - a guy who was unappreciated at first, and then emerges as a star?"I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! Frustrating watching Jimmer play 2 guard and not the point."Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive. They were all against me. Tried every dirty trick to cut me down, but I beat the bastards and left them in the ditch."

Good game by Jimmer. 10 points on the night. Nba.com has his stats wrong. They have 8 points. But jimmer was 3-4 from the foul line, hit a nice midrange jumper going left and made 2 threes.*Banned*

They took away his 2nd trey. They called it a shot clock violation.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostGood game by Jimmer. 10 points on the night. Nba.com has his stats wrong. They have 8 points. But jimmer was 3-4 from the foul line, hit a nice midrange jumper going left and made 2 threes.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Looks like Jimmer lost a three on a shot clock violation and they gave him a turnover.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostGood game by Jimmer. 10 points on the night. Part of the problem is that Sacramento already has two guys playing the point position. Then you add in IT and Jimmer. If Jimmer is going to get minutes on this team, he'll have to play the 2 guard.Originally posted by bluegoose View PostYep. Its like he is already being branding as strictly a 3 point specialist.
Let's face it Jimmer ended up in the absolutely worst place. I still can't figure out why the Kings drafted Jimmer."To the man who only has a hammer, everything he encounters begins to look like a nail."

Jimmer averaged just over 4 assists per game in his last 2 years at BYU. Recognizing that he wasn't really asked to be a playmaker in college,do you guys think he can be one in the NBA? Maybe he's a natural 2.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

4 assists in college is indicative of an above average playmaker. You can't compare college assist numbers to pro assist numbersOriginally posted by LA Ute View PostJimmer averaged just over 4 assists per game in his last 2 years at BYU. Fair enough. I was just speculating about why the Kings might be thinking of him as a 2.Originally posted by Flystripper View Post4 assists in college is indicative of an above average playmaker.
