I had courtside season tickets. I was there when the Sonics beat the Jazz in game 7 of the WC finals, and every other playoff game that year.

A lot of people who had courtside seats don't care.

How could the town be such a strong supporter of pro baseball and pro football and not care about pro Basketball. I don't think Seattle is a racist community, so I think SU is just spewing sour grapes.

We know SU's real opposition: he's intimidated by young rich black kids. I think he's mentioned this before. Also, he's worried that if they have to play in the Key while constructing a new stadium it will fuck up his commute. He's just always thinking about himself.

Top of the key extended. On the same side, just a few seats down from Howard Schultz. It's nothing to be impressed by, however. I just know the right people. I was just a commoner like SU.

at 23 in terms of realistic picks, I like

I also wonder how much Snyder coming in is changing (if at all) who the Jazz might have been focusing on in the draft.

I'm prepared to be disappointed. I'm thinking it will be Vonleh, Gordon or Exum. Fortunately, I'm wrong often enough on this stuff that of those three, the guy they pick just might be really good.

Most secret draft boards have McDermott over Exum.

What is it about Exum that has execs and analysts jumping for joy? I've heard the Penny comparisons, but Penny was an explosive athlete, while Exum plays a very "on the court" style. He can't shoot well. And while he might have the length that projects to be a good defensive player, what can teams really know about his defense after playing in Australia and all-star games against high school players? I'm intrigued at how GMs look for in a young player like Exum and decide he's more Penny than he is Dennis Schroeder or Michael Carter-Williams.
