  • Kevin Pelton: "VONLEH>>GORDON>RANDLE"

I'm starting to buy in on Vonleh, but not on Gordon.

    • What is that from?

If Snyder is such a dedicated SnR guy, I think the idea of having a 4 that can shoot it like Vonleh would be attractive.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

The video I saw on FB he said was interested in high pace, fast offense. Not sure he's as married to SnR as you e been thinking.

These are not mutually exclusive. Apparently you have forgotten D'Antoni's Suns with Nash and Amare?

High-paced, fast offenses can run plenty of SnR's! See: the Phoenix Suns! Or: the San Antonio Spurs!

            • With the Knicks hiring Fisher, Snyder is not looking like a bad hire at all.

              • Snyder's a good hire. He was too callow for the Missouri job and had lucky success too early. Like Nietzsche said, a good kick in the stomach is good for you if it doesn't kill you. This reminds me of the Sonics' George Karl hire. Snyder's a quality human being who rose to basketball fame from a very unlikely place and with the disadvantage of being born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

                  Who are the 'Sonics'?

So is there hope for Seattle with Ballmer buying the chippers and eventually moving them to Redmond? What is the word on that?

Edit: Ballmer seems to remind me of a crazy version of Larry Miller...

No. And we don't have an NBA team because except for a few freaks we really don't care about the NBA or don't want to meet the NBA's terms. That's a historical fact.

                    • Balmer has a lot more money than Larry Miller.

The NBA should thank us for the Thunder, Balmer and Paul Allen. The Jazz will thank us for Quinn Snyder.

On this one I hope you will be able to claim you have two swishes.

MG's limited vinyl of RadioHead in Rainbows just got a huge skip on it.

Lol. I guess if you didn't sit courtside at the Sonics games, perhaps you wouldn't care. My buddies, the guys I used to sit courside with at the games, most definitely care. If being rich and powerful makes one a "freak" to a commoner such as yourself, you may be right.

I had courtside season tickets. I was there when the Sonics beat the Jazz in game 7 of the WC finals, and every other playoff game that year.

A lot of people who had courtside seats don't care.
