I'd still be nervous outside of the top 2. Lets say this draft is as good as 2003 or 1984, 2 of the greatest drafts ever.

You still have 2 of the top 5 that you'd rather not have:
2003 = Lebron, Carmelo, Wade in top 5; Darko and Bosh at 2 and 4.
1984 = Hakeem, Jordan, Barkley in top 5, Bowie and Sam Perkins at 2 and 4.

If the draft is so good that an 8x AS, 2x champion and 24/10 player at his peak is someone you'd rather not have, I'm feeling pretty good.

Is Gordon Hayward becoming a star or is he simply putting up empty stats? 19pts 5 assists 6 rebounds w/ 1.5 steals is pretty nice.

In 2003 Darko is the only one you question, and international scouting has changed substantially since then. Exum is the only kid that is international in the top five and even he at least has some in game action to go from. I wouldn't say that any player in this draft is as talented as Lebron. But I think you've got comparable to Wade, Melo, and even Bosh in this draft, with other guys who could be good. Or, they could all flop.

A compliment to Gordon, no? Just think how bad the Wolves would be without him. (Hard to be worse than 0-7 with GH, I know)

I think he is pointing out that Love played for a really bad team and put up real nice numbers and people thought that he wasn't that good because how bad the Wolves are...but now people realize that he is a really good player. I got that from his comment that even though Hayward is putting up good numbers on a bad team, he is turning out to be a really nice player and will only get better.

I got that from his comment that even though Hayward is putting up good numbers on a bad team really white, he is turning out to be a really nice player and will only get better.

I think the Jazz break through tonight. It's time for a victory, unfortunately. I, for one, hope that Corbin keeps his job all year. I feel very confident that we will be the worst team in the league as long as he is coaching.

Ford updated his Big Board in advance of the big Chicago match ups. Top 4 is Wiggins, Randle, Exum, Parker. He says this for Gordon:

How deep is this draft? I have several GMs who swear that Gordon should be a top-three pick in June, but he's No. 7 on this list in November. His combination of explosive athletic ability and energy is so attractive. He opened his collegiate career with 13 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks. He followed that up with a 14-point, 10-rebound performance Monday. If he can prove he has a reliable perimeter game, he has All-Star potential at the next level.

All stars 7 picks deep. Just hope all these kids actually declare. You have to think a few won't.

Looking at the Jazz schedule, trying to figure out where their first win is going to come. Wednesday against New Orleans at home is a possibility. They'll lose Friday against the Spurs. The next two games would be against the Warriors, one at home, one away. Should the Jazz win either of those games against the Warriors, you'd have to wonder about their tanking intentions. If they could somehow win both, it would be almost certain that they're throwing the seasons.

After that, their best bet for a win is November 29th at home against Phoenix, or November 30th on the road at Phoenix. That would put them at 0-18. Yikes.

Not a prediction, but I wouldn't be shocked at all to see Parker stay at Duke for another year.

Yeah I have the same feeling about the kid. Just doesn't seem like he's in a rush.
