  • I think the Jazz maybe just drafted Kaminsky, sorry McDermot.

      • Nice, fluid stroke from 3. Has he shot any this year?

              • I would love it if we lucked into Jabari. But I'm really liking Julius Randle's motor and game.

If the Jazz win the No. 1 pick, there is no way they pass on Parker. Not only are they a team that wants to make the quick push to the playoffs next season -- meaning the Jazz want an impact player from day one -- but Parker's Mormon faith has already made him crazy popular in Utah. Wiggins is second on their board, followed by Exum.

Exum at 3? Interesting, but of course Ford doesn't actually know. And I think passing on Wiggins for Parker would be a mistake.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Agreed on Wiggins v. Jabs. I haven't seen Exum at all, but aren't most people plucking him around 6th?

Agreed about Wiggins and Parker. I'd be tempted to take Randle over both of them - not sure I'd do it, but there's a reason he was still playing late and they weren't and it wasn't because he had the better team.

Exum scares me. I feel like, with the risk he presents (he's never done anything against good competition - it's all been U17, U19, all-star game type stuff), he should be a mid-first round guy. He reminds me of Andrea and Darko - guys who were drafted way too high after never having performed in real games against good players.

Apparently, some GM/scouts think Exum is a generational talent and should be #1 overall. But most people seem to have him at 4 or 5 because of the unknowns.

I don't know if you can compare him to those guys. They are non-power 7 footers. He is a PG and his talent should be pretty apparent. At least as apparent as evaluating HS talent in US.

I'm not sure what your point is about them being non-power 7 footers or that being a PG his talent should be apparent. Having said that I agree with the comparison to evaluating HS talent in the U.S., which I think makes my point. Drafting tends to be a crapshoot anyway, doing it with HS players only magnifies it tenfold.

Halfway through the season, I wondered if somehow Corbin was going to save his job even with the terrible defense. That has washed away over the past 25 games. Poor defense, many 15+ point defeats have officially doomed him.

I am intensely intrigued in who Lindsey is looking at. This will be a huge decision for him that will shape the Jazz for years to come as well as influence potential free agents to come here. Will he go with past known coaches or does he go after an up and comer. I want answers and I can handle the truth.
