I just watched about 5 minutes of the Jazz game replay, and I'm so excited that Gobert is not a stiff. Moves decently, plays hard, great length. He's got a ways to go, but at least he's not a stiff!
"Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive. They were all against me. Tried every dirty trick to cut me down, but I beat the bastards and left them in the ditch."
so we are going to send foye to denver. So do we have any shooters on the roster? Rush and hayward is it I suppose./
Burks, Hayward and Rush. Marvin can knock down open threes and Burke is a good shooter out to NBA range coming out of school. You possibly give a spot to a guy like Dionte Christmas who can shoot it as well. Especially if Corbin gives Burks significant time, shooting shouldn't be an issue (48% 3pt in Feb when averaging 27 mpg and 39% 3s in the second half of the season) for the Jazz.
If we aren't signing Foye maybe that means a deal to get Jimmer is in the works.
That would be cool, but that seems too risky. They pick up Jimmer and then if he doesn't perform or for whatever reason they don't want to give him big minutes, you're going to piss off a lot of Jazz fans.

You may be right. However, I am a Jazz fan and of course a Jimmer fan and I wouldn't expect him to get big minutes. If he got Watson or Tinsley type minutes I would be more than happy.
IOW we help send our best shooter to our division rival for a worthless late 2nd rounder.
You've got a long way to go before you celebrate Tankapalooza properly. Embrace it.

Exactly. The worst spot in the NBA is the 9th-10th best team in a conference. Crappy draft pick and you still miss the playoffs. The best option for the Jazz is to blow up the entire team, play the young guns and tank this season hoping to land one of the prize picks in the 2014 draft.
You trade your best shooter to a team that you play 4 times this year. That is genius 4 more losses means more ping pong balls.

Look at it this way: does anyone really care that Randy Foye is going to be a Nugget? Maybe, just maybe, if he were a difference maker. But it's Randy Foye we're talking about here.
