Favors looking good early. The Jazz have to go to him much more often in the post than they have early on. They keep going to Sap, but he can't do anything on the block because he's too little. And on the other end Brand is abusing Millsap so far.

This will be fun to watch when Favors goes for 20 and 10 tonight and then gets put on the bench next game when Al feels good to go.

Good move saying he was headed to the bench after Game #2, Corbin.

      Edit: Millsap 1-5.

Hayward's passing can be spectacular at times.

Yes he can. And I don't why they are making offensive basketball more difficult than it has to be. It's obvious Hawes can't handle Favors in the post, so what does Corbin do? Three straight possessions with Favors playing at the high post setting picks for Watson.

The lesson from the first quarter is that it doesn't matter who plays, the result is going to be the same.

            Get Burks in the game.

So frustrating to see Howard come in before Burks. He's shooting 33% on the year, doesn't defend, rebound or pass. For some reason the veteran who is past his prime doesn't have to earn minutes, they are simply given.

Harris wants nothing to do with this team and is playing like a guy who is cashing a paycheck.

CJ, eat a dick and die.

I wonder how Burks would look if he could trade places with Marshon Brooks. I think he'd look at least as impressive with that much freedom.

Corbin wants Favors back in, so rather than pull Howard and move Sap to the 3 and Hayward to the 2, he takes Kanter out, Kanter who had been in for about 4 minutes and seemed get every rebound while he was in.

Roger Bell has been on the team for a while, apparently he's a leader (whatever the hell that means), apparently he's a good defender and has been a good shooter in the league. He sucks, but I guess I can understand, in a bizarre way why Corbin wants to play him. I'm absolutely baffled by Howard.

As long as they don't double him, I'd feed Favors on the low block until he can't breathe.

Or you could keep going to Sap. His 2-9 shooting so far reminds of Nelson's comp% today.

Brooks is killin it. Best rook so far.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

He's looked good, and not much to go off of yet, but Knight and Walker have looked really good.

It's been fun watching Kanter and Favors for this long 4th quarter stretch. I have to give Corbin credit for sticking with them for so long. It's disappointing that Corbin has made up his mind that Burks will not be even a small part of the rotation right now, but at least the Favors/Kanter lineup has been a silver lining tonight.

(edit) as soon as I say that, he pulls Kanter with the team up six. And Howard fouls Iggy on three.

Harris definitely showed he can be a good PG when he wants to be.

If I was Evans I'd be pissed that I worked all summer with CJ, Al, and Favors and yet I'm the only one riding the pine.

Allegedly Jerry Corbin is showing Burks who's the boss due to his [Burks] tendency in practice to disregard/not execute the called play and create his own shot. Allegedly Jerry Corbin thinks game time is tied to maturity and not basketball skill.

                                Locke is the worst.

My rotation, please feel free to take it Corbin, Harris, CJ, Hayward, Millsap, Favors.
Big Al, Kanter, Evans, Burks, and Tinsley off the bench. On back to backs, simply swap the bench with the starters.

I can't wait to see the Jazz with a real coach someday.
