Burks with roughly twice as many points in 10 mins as Raja has in 2 games. It was a bunch of guys running around in garbage time, but Raja would have been lucky to put the ball through the hoop one or twice over that same span.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Even when Burks has struggled, he gets in the paint essentially whenever he wants. On that little floater he missed (the one dunked in by Evans), he absolutely destroyed his defender (Brewer?) with a little cross over and made it look easy.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostBurks with roughly twice as many points in 10 mins as Raja has in 2 games. Interesting game.
Slow starts and poor defense are reflective of poor coaching and game planning. I'm not sure what Corbin did all those years at Sloan's side, but I'd give a kidney for Phil to un-retire. I'd also be curious to know what exactly Lowe does. You think the Jazz would have brought in a defensive specialist assistant coach and not just one of Ty's buddies.
Not sure what Burks did to end up in Corbin's doghouse, but hopefully his minutes tonight force him into the starting SG spot.
I'd love to see more Kanter/Big Al and Sap/Favors. I don't think Favors and Big Al compliment each other.
Tinsley should take Harris' starting job until he [Harris] decides whether or not he wants to be a leader on this team.
Lastly, don't start tweeting Greg about firing Corbin. He'll take it personal and give him another 2 years.

Just finished watching. Let me start with something positive: Denver is a good basketball team with an unbelievable starting PG.
Now, as to the Jazz. It's obvious to me, and I'm no one of great consequence or basketball intelligence, that Corbin doesn't know what he's doing right now. This team might wind up giving up more points than any team since the high scoring 80's. His unit combinations, his inability to matchup at all, and especially his deer in headlights look on the sidelines following yet another dunk is baffling. He doesn't have this team's attention nor their respect right now.
Burks was fun to watch, Kanter is a big physical rebounding machine. Neither are getting run right now. Favors cannot stay away from fouls and for every good thing Hayward has done on this season, he's done something bad to negate it. Worst team in Utah since my youth and it's tough to watch, but watch I will."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault
"Once I seen the trades go down and the other guys signed elsewhere," he said, "I knew it was my time now." - Derrick Favors

I think it is unfair to demand Corbin to be fired right now, do I think he's a doing a bad job coaching right now? Absolutely, but I'm not sure there's a lot of talent on this roster at all really, is there actually talent on this roster or bad coaching? I'll give this whole year to judge where he's at as a coach, but I want to see this team go the OKC Thunder route and just start all the rookies and lose and win as rookies.

I will watch as much as TC plays the youngsters. I don't need to watch Bell, Howard, Miles, Jefferson, Harris and Millsap lose by 20 every time out.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostWorst team in Utah since my youth and it's tough to watch, but watch I will.
Also, they HAVE to make a trade to get a PG. It would be nice to see Miles and Millsap or Jefferson go in such a deal - preferrably Millsap.I'm like LeBron James.

Devin Harris absolutely refusing to pick up Lawson time after time pissed me off almost as much as Nene dunking uncontested over and over. He is a weakling and not a good passer.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostI will watch as much as TC plays the youngsters. Why would you want to get rid of Millsap? He's been the best player in both of the games. Get rid of Jefferson + CJ + Harris for Kyle Lowry + Hasheem Thabeet.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostI will watch as much as TC plays the youngsters. What happened to the Devin Harris that used to play defense? Damn, dude didn't even make an effort again Lawson.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostDevin Harris absolutely refusing to pick up Lawson time after time pissed me off almost as much as Nene dunking uncontested over and over. Harris doesn't look like he wants to be here at all.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
