              Maybe KY can bring in Monty Williams as a special advisor. He is getting $12.5 million a year for the next 5 years to do nothing, may as well do something.

                I just think you guys need to save your braggadocio for the scoreboard. You act like you're the first program ever to sign the no. 40 player and an NBA prospect from overseas. Guess what. It's not unprecedented. Something like this happens multiple times every year. And most teams that do it don't ever get into even the round of 32.

                  Also BYU isn't 12 it's 25. You have to count the transfers. And the difference between 15 and 60, really, who knows. The margins are razor thin, these ratings are totally subjective in basketball, and winning is mostly about coaching if you're in that range. And obviously they're counting the Russian or these rankings really are nonsensical. Maybe they are.

                  Utah has a sophomore transfer who was no. 39 last year and went to Baylor. So really, who knows?

                  Sorry but you know I'm a natural skeptic. I've seen this movie many times before. Usually it's not a happy ending. Most coaches fail. 2 percent succeed to fans' expectations.

                  Washington and Georgetown have better classes than BYU and I'm not too optimistic. I may like Utah's class best.

                    Yes! Thank you for your help! We were all out of control and didn't understand that KY actually has to coach these players to win games in March. Your superior understanding of recruiting rankings and the history of their translation to real success is particularly helpful. The bold part is my favorite.

                        SU, I am happy to discover that you are pessimistic about BYU's chances and optimistic about Utah's chances.

                        Maybe other ute fans will catch your optimism and start attending games. Who knows, maybe in a few years they could ditch the curtains!

                              You may have perhaps noticed that the conversation topic was not which teams in the Big 12 is SU (or the Utes) most worried about.

                                That's fine. You are optimistic about your team but at the same time you are mocking BYU fans showing a little excitement over some incoming players that are more highly rated than we are used to seeing here. Nobody is guaranteeing anything and some (those with little intestinal fortitude) are expecting a big letdown.

                                As for your contention that the #12 recruiting class ranking is a myth, maybe go lecture these guys:
