    Lol. Get some help.

Something you're overlooking. I have followed teams for years that signed these five star players and just lost. Georgetown under JT III, Washington under Romar. Lose lose lose. We all witnessed your former assistant as a hapless head coach at UNLV with a roster full of future NBA talent.

Those guys are toxic. You can't build a college basketball program on them. Take a page from U Conn or Villanova. You need four stars who are just short of NBA sure things who stay at your program for years.

(I don't want to debate this and don't mean to incite any invective. You're all very defensive and sensitive about your team. But I am actually intrigued by Craig Smith's approach of recruiting fallen stars. Players who were once highly recruited and have had disappointing starts and whose stock has dropped. See Deivon Smith. Cam Rising was one of those in football. But as things now stand, if they pan out, they transfer out. See Deivon Smith. There's always someone else with more money. Hopefully this settlement provides the means for a salary cap and contracts.)

      • The Sleepers guys think Catchings was always going to BYU and that the other two visits will never even happen.

I understand Florida State happened after BYU and that he is at NC State today.

I think all things will be revealed in the next few days.

Snow College Big Man Max Triplett Commits to BYU

Not super sexy, but he's a walkon and he's 6-9 and with Foos' injury history, that means he most likely gets some PT.

The 6-foot-9 big man was a impact player for Snow College this past season, averaging 14 points and 7 rebounds. That was an uptick from his freshman season where he averaged 6 points and 4 boards. Triplett took a walk-on offer from BYU over reported D1 scholarship offers from Cal Poly and Southern Indiana.

            • Finally. I wonder why it took so long after the commitment.

              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

This is shaping up to be an exciting year.

                          • We need SU to chime in and tell us why this is not a big deal.

After leaving Purdue, BYUs competition was just Florida State and NC State. No blue bloods were after him, so no big deal BYU got him
