I don't think so. I don't think either of those two are likely to dislodge him for the 24-25 season. Both of those players are likely future contributors rather than immediate. The UCLA transfer will likely play some backup minutes but he clearly struggled with the adjustment to D1 ball and my guess is he needs a year to find himself, get his hoops playing legs and confidence back under him and then hit it hard the year after that with the chance to be a main rotation/potential go to guy.Originally posted by SteelBlue View Post
I think what Waterman is doing the same thing Dallin Hall and Saunders did. He is testing the waters to find out his NIL value and then if BYU gives him an offer that he finds better or comparable enough my guess is he stays. If BYU is unable to get close enough to matching it-perhaps he bolts.
I think this is a pure NIL value test.
My guess is in a perfect world the BYU staff want all 3 on the roster and if they are Noah is the most likely to play the most during the 24-25 season.Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!
