He was specifically talking about attacking civilian infrastructure. He called it a war crime, vile, immoral.

I confess I don't know what his stance is on the entire war in Iran.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

    • Breaking news! I'm sitting in a meeting right now with my Indian cohorts, and we are discussing Iran. They are split.

Tucker Qatarlson is against attacking a muslim country? I am shocked!

Seems a little simplistic, but okay.

However, it would behoove all voters to look at what has happened in the last year with clear eyes. There is one party that has supported and defended numerous attacks on the constitution, probably more so than any peace-time president in our history. So much so that the future of the government ideal that we were taught was American exceptionalism is seriously in doubt. The constitutional attacks are bad enough. But this party refuses to condemn its leader for demagoguing half of the electorate, the press, and every political leader that does not have a (R) behind their name. If our form of government survives unscathed, it will be a miracle. But I fear the virulent attacking of fellow citizens is a rubicon.

We can debate all day how bad the other political party is. But there is one that is much worse in a very practical way that threatens to dismantle most of what we thought makes the country good, or at least less bad. Step one of the needed political cleansing is holding noses and voting for someone who will not continue on this destructive path.
The only part here that I am going to disagree with you on is that both parties are equally as bad. People tend to think that their side is less bad, but they are both equally as bad.

This seems to be the new and very nebulous talking point of the gop. “We finally had the courage to do what needed to be done.” Yet they haven’t been able to lay out any coherent defense of the position. Just this trite line or similar ones we’ve heard for decades about an imminently “nuclear armed Iran.” If true, the evidence should be overwhelming and easy to present. They haven’t made their case because it’s bullshit. Nobody but the casual base believes it.

This war has been a giant L. Strait predictably closed, regime “changed” for a harsher one, populace being bombed and threatened with war crimes and now apparently extinction. Not sure what you see that “needed to happen” but there is not one demonstrably positive effect of this war at the moment.

                Yep.

It makes for the former "no more foreign wars" version of Trump look smart. Unreal what an idealogical flip he has made.

                • This is a bit difficult for me to process. Incredibly cool and frightening. If I'm reading this correctly, a long-range sensor can identify and fingerprint a specific heartbeat. Like from 40 miles away.

Should they tell us all about this secret technology? I don't trust Hegseth to gatekeep secrets

For some reason, I'm reminded of the movie Real Genius.

                        • Doomsday plane has been spotted:

President Donald Trump's emergency command aircraft 'Doomsday Plane' spotted above this US base

President Donald Trump's emergency command aircraft 'Doomsday Plane' spotted above this US base after the Boeing E-4B Nightwatch performed multiple loops over Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska on Monday. Flight tracking data shows the aircraft departed the base at 10:17am ET. It completed at least six circles before moving east toward Strahan, about 40 miles away.

Offutt Air Force Base houses the fleet of E-4B aircraft and serves as the home of the US nuclear command center. The aircraft acts as a flying command post for the president, vice president and defense leadership during emergencies

                          • Isn’t the deadline coming up in just over an hour? Are we supposed to be doing something like watching Iran get blown to pieces live on fox news? I’ve never been around when the US was blowing up civilian infrastructure on purpose so I’m not quite sure what to expect.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
