Out of curiosity, what possible justification could Trump offer that would make you go "hmm. ok. that makes sense. Maybe he doesn't deserve to be in federal prison for defrauding people to the tune of millions of dollars?" Inquiring minds want to know.

My favorite is the disgruntled colleague interaction. It shows Nancy sitting in her cubicle when Josh, the disgruntled colleague, stops by for a chat. Josh starts complaining about not getting the big promotion he'd been expecting, his wife leaving him, his kid in the hospital, and his crushing debt. Then he casually mentions he's driving from Virginia to San Diego to meet a Chinese national he met online and how great it is to meet someone who finally appreciates him. The whole time he's playing with a USB drive like a fidget toy. Then the quiz is like 'should you ask if he'd like company on the drive?'

I'm good with the pardon. But only because I am a distant admirer of Milton's artistry. It takes courage, gumption, creativity, total absence of shame, and a complete disregard for humanity to be a con artist of his caliber. Kind of. Annual training is a component of our NIST compliance supplier score. When we move beyond self-certification into third-party audit our past compliance will be examined.

When I was S2, I would wander Battalion HQ halls asking to see certificates. If they could not be produced in perfect order, I would immediately revoke that persons clearance. That practice came to an abrupt halt when Gen. Wesley Clark decided to visit the battalion and couldn't produce his certificates. Something about me being a minnow and him being a blue whale. That took me off the fast track to CJCS , so I went to law school instead.

It's a prerequisite to having our user account renewed each year. Three more to go! (If all goes as planned.)

We used to have a lot more online training courses until Mark Esper took the axe to many of the training requirements that had gotten out of hand. I just did the CNO/CAO recertification online the other day, and that got me out of sitting in class for two days next week.

Dang, you all are hardcore. Must be the DoD thing. The course completion was recorded electronically, but I printed the certificate nonetheless. Nobody ever checked to confirm them, assume because it was already in the system.
