Maybe, but you can do so without being a terrorist if you don't support using terrorism to achieve that goal. That is an important distinction and there is precedent for getting groups to turn in the gun and solve problems by ballot.

Elimination of Israel as in the Jewish people living there, or the elimination of Israel as in the political state? It makes a difference. It also makes a difference how the person works towards that cause.

One is anti-Semitic, no question. The other is... more complicated.

I wonder if people who support the political state of Israel and claim opposition to it is anti Semitic would know the same argument could be made supporting the political state of Israel means you support genocide and apartheid.

Ask the Palestinians who are Israeli citizens and serve in the Israeli govenment and armed forces. I heard it said once that if Hamas would put down their weapons there would be peace and if Israel would put down their weapons they (nation and people) would cease to exist.

That is exactly right. Their stated goal is the elimination of Israel. They teach their kids to hate jews from the time they are born. The two sides are not the same.

President Donald Trump pardoned Nikola Corp. founder Trevor Milton for his October 2022 conviction of federal crimes related to defrauding investors with false claims about the success of the electric and hydrogen-powered truck maker.

Milton, 42, was sentenced in December 2023 to four years in prison, but he has been free since then pending an appeal of the former CEO’s criminal conviction on securities and wire fraud charges in U.S. District Court in Manhattan.

The pardon came two weeks after federal prosecutors urged District Court Judge Edgardo Ramos to order Milton to pay restitution of $680 million to Nikola shareholders, and another $15.2 million to Peter Hicks, a victim of his wire fraud...

Milton also made significant political donations to Republicans in late 2024, including $920,000 to the Trump 47 Committee, which was first reported by New York Times reporter Ken Bensinger.

Milton “donated $2 million to Republicans between September and December,” Bensinger wrote in a tweet.
