              Well, not really new, since he's been a Putin fanboi for quite awhile. But given what's just happened, this is absolutely a new low for him.

                  If properly handled, there was absolutely no reason that the situation currently happening in Ukraine should have happened at all. I know Vladimir Putin very well, and he would have never done during the Trump Administration what he is doing now, no way! Russia has become very very rich during the Biden Administration, with oil prices doubling and soon to be tripling and quadrupling. The weak sanctions are insignificant relative to taking over a country and a massive piece of strategically located land. Now it has begun, oil prices are going higher and higher, and Putin is not only getting what he always wanted, but getting, because of the oil and gas surge, richer and richer. The U.S. was energy independent under the Trump Administration, an independence that we had never obtained before, and oil prices would have remained low. Now, what a mess our Country is in!

                            It's not a scientific exercise meant to be as precise as the kenpom basketball rankings. But they're not good people. Splitting hairs here is equally dumb. And calling Trump the biggest threat to our country is still pretty damn serious.

                              Putin's speech yesterday laid it out pretty clearly -- one way or another he plans to take over Ukraine, but not just that. He wants to return to how it was before the fall of the Soviet Union, even by war if he can get away with it. His fake parliament gave him their blessing to wage war wherever he wants. The fact that Americans like Tucker Carlson and many Republicans side with what is happening is disgusting.

                                The only space between Putin and Trump is that Putin has the means to get away with the dark shit he wants. If you're suggesting that Trump is morally superior to Putin then you're the one talking freshman college shit. Putin is evil, but I'd let him babysit my grandkids well before I'd let Trump.
