    I had that interview on the TV last night but could only last through the first five minutes or so. Trevor Noah is awful.

      You and I are on an agreement roll today. He is TERRIBLE. I actually wanted to hear the interview thinking it might be interesting but he is just dreadful.

        He is literally the worst. I got really sick of the Stewart smug snark over the years, but at least he was always funny. I don't know what Noah is.

          Yeah that chick is a nut, but this came off as an ambush. I actually started rooting for her.

          Stewart would have handled that much more gracefully. They should just cancel the Daily Show.

              No kidding. The audience applaused at some very weak Noah rebuttals. There were so many other funny ways Noah could have made thoughtful remarks, and let her sink in her own comments. He chose none of them and went for the cheap shots.

              Unless it got wildly funny after 5 minutes; that's all I lasted.

                Wow, Noah was a colossal asshole. Folks are far to quick to get angry and dismissive when others simply disagree with their point of view. She was his guest and he didn't show any respect whatsoever. Total prick.

                  I'm 15 minutes in and it's not go as well as I'm sure he thought it was going to go. Pretty much a draw, which means she wins since it's his house.

                  Edit: Watched to the end. I think she pretty much kicked his ass. He couldn't even look her in the eyes.

                    why do people think stewart was different? he was always a smug, condescending dice loader who gave drive by coverage to things he could never understand or talk about in a meaningful way. the whole sneering liberal thing (maher, stewart, colbert in many respects, amy schumer) is not funny or clever.

                          The irritating thing about Stewart is that he would go on these other shows, Crossfire for instance, and lay into these people then when they would go after him he would respond "I'm a comedian, it's satire, you're an idiot for even calling me out."

                          But Stewart absolutely had his moments that were genuinely funny, and it was great when the targets were more bipartisan. The Jim Cramer takedown was particularly gratifying.
                          Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
