                                    I think this goes here. Police in Mississippi fired on a suspected shoplifter and killed a 1 yo child. They claim the driver was headed toward them to try and run them over (we've heard that before when it didn't apply) but witnesses dispute that.

                                    There is no good reason to shoot someone over a shoplifting charge.

                                    It's prompted protests.

                                            It is a safe bet that if video footage exists it will not show a car trying to run a cop down.
