  • Military-Trained Police May Be Less Hasty To Shoot, But That Got This Vet Fired

Aim in on him, and I say, 'Drop your gun. Drop your gun,' " Mader told NPR. "And he said, 'I can't do that. Just shoot me.' And I told him, I said, 'I'm not gonna shoot you, brother — just put down the gun.'
    So much for preclusion.

          That was definitely brutal.

That is the opposite of police brutality. Great work on their part. Stoopid kid.

                • while they did a great job, that video shows just how scary and dangerous their job can be. if the other guy would have chosen to be uncooperative and had a weapon, we could be looking at two dead police officers.

Which is why I always lose my shit when people talk about "murderous cops". You have a split second decision to make. And it is literally a life/death decision. What you choose means one of you dies. I don't blame police officers for the choice that they make.

If the cameras weren't there, and that kid had either been shot or choked to death, the media would be reporting about it being "civil, he did nothing wrong, just another case of white on black police brutality."

You have the kid complaining that he can't breath. You are going to have some SJW out there complaining about the police tactics in this video. "Did they have to almost choke him to death? I mean...couldn't they have done something less brutal?"

                    • Those cops had nothing to fear as far as repercussions go. They handled it incredibly well. Very scary situation. Fantastic take down as the kid was going for his gun and tried to get away. If the cop misses the tackle death would have followed.

And yet continues to go for the gun the whole time. I can't breath, and its effecting my ability to shoot you! Idiot.

                            • An off-duty officer in Anaheim pulled and fired his weapon because a bunch of kids crossed his lawn. This ass should be sued for everything he owns and should absolutely lose his job. This type of individual should never be in a position of authority over others. Unfortunately, too many cops have this same mentality (no I am not claiming that they will all pull and fire their weapon but many believe that they must be obeyed and deferred to all of the time).
