The funniest thing about the "problems" the Trump campaign has with being interrogated by adversarial media is about the election denial and Jan 6. A problem entirely of his own making. A lot of people love his pushing back against a biased legacy media. His tarrif proposals are indefensible, but so are some of Harris'. But they know the election denial stuff plays horribly.

I hope 60 Minutes asks (has asked?) Vance for an interview. I'd love to hear again his ridiculous statements about how a Yale-trained lawyer was duped by mainstream media about the kind of person Trump is. Then they should ask how Trump "salvaged Obamacare," an absurd claim of his. And then finish with questions about Trump's health plan that Trump has said will be revealed within the next month or so (although he's repeated that forecast dozens of times since 2016)..Originally posted by USUC View Post

60 minutes is one of the few new shows still doing pretty well. If you accept that the news media is traditionally more biased in favor of left-leaning perspectives, then would you accept an interview of Donald Trump by Joe Rogan as an equivalent proxy to doing 60 minutes? Rogan I assume is kinda right-leaning and reaches more viewers.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostHarris doing media events almost every day. Her 60 Minutes interview was pretty brutal. Kudos to them for asking tough questions.
Meanwhile, Trump chickened out of his 60 Minutes interview. Where is UT to call out his cowardice?
Kamala needs to reach more critical thinking moderates to win them over. She needs to do the 60 minute interview. I am not sure 60 minutes is the interview Trump needs to reach the undecided moderates he is targeting. this whole media landscape as a backdrop to this election cycle is just so wild right now. It is looking like Kamala is losing ground to a slow and steady Trump surge in the swing states that matter. There is a very real chance of Trump Presidency. I am braced for maximal entertainment regardless of who the victor is.

You don't get to claim the board dummy by yourself. I am at least your dummy equal.Originally posted by Bo Diddley View PostWhen I was in 2nd grade apparently I was given an IQ test. I have no recollection of it, so I wonder how robust it really was. She wouldn't tell me what my score was, but said it was above ###. I don't put much stock in that. I think she did, because my two older brothers and my sister just younger than me are exceptionally bright. Two of them skipped grades. I have always felt like the dummy in their company. That's also how I feel on this board. There are a lot of exceptionally bright people that post here, and I feel like the dummy. I come for the insights and the social interaction, so perhaps I'm the board blonde--except I'm really not very sexy.“Every player dreams of being a Yankee, and if they don’t it’s because they never got the chance.” Aroldis Chapman

Harris is finally making the rounds in interviews as the data is showing people don’t know or trust her since she’s been in hiding. Now she starts to make the rounds and we find out why they’ve been hiding her.Originally posted by wally View Post

LOL@60 Minutes... They edited out her "word salad" answer and replaced it with an answer from a different question:Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostHarris doing media events almost every day. Her 60 Minutes interview was pretty brutal. Kudos to them for asking tough questions.

I don't blame Trump for not going on this so called "news" program. Not to mention Leslie Stahl never corrected the misinformation she pushed from the last interview...
She said the laptop "can't be verified". Not only was it verified it was entered as evidence in court. 60 Minutes is nothing less than a propaganda machine for the democrats."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

Of course, these recent interviews that Harris is finally doing are making for good trump ads…

Walk me through this Ted. If the laptop is such a victory lap for Trump, what possible downside is there to go on 60 minutes, do the interview, and rub their faces in it? At the very least, he burnishes his MAGA bonifides and projects strength, no matter how bad 60 minutes might portray him. Instead, he's complaining about not getting an apology at his rallies. Very low energy, and might I say, pretty low IQ decision.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostI don't blame Trump for not going on this so called "news" program.
