IQ smack is dumb and there are many factors that make up IQ. Harris is smart. Most likely 120 or above. She has terrible politics though and hasn't done the homework to handle stuff like this that is expected to happen. She's just not a serious person.
1. People from 80-85 are just fine. You'd be surprised how many of those folks are out there. They work with you, they go to church with you, they share a home with you. IQ's in the range of 70-85 are 13.59% of our population.
2. People with an IQ of 120 or higher are rare. You are talking ~8.2%.
Do I believe that her IQ is <85? No. Do I believe she is >120? No. To be in the Top 8%, she wouldn't have the gaffes that she does.

Just offhand I would not equate high IQ with good communications skills. Simply put, taking written tests does not correspond to social/communication proficiency.
I would love some insight here.

I would venture to guess that she is in the average range, as are a majority of the population. The standard bell curve wanted you to believe that 100 is average, which is only partially correct. Most cognitive exams rate average as 90-100.
I could geek out about this stuff. I enjoy it quite a bit.

Some people take a moment and then proceed.

Does a person's IQ peak at a certain age?"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."
Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

She may not be 120, but I have a hard time believing she could have gone as far as she has with average IQ.
