It's a political strategy. Biden has been shown to be unfit to earn a second term and that was a drag on the Dems as they were trying to spin an obvious fact. In truth, it's safe to assume every President and Vice President has taken confidential documents on their way out, but not with any criminal intent, and they have all quickly returned them when the errors have been discovered, as Biden has done. Well, all except Trump, who not only refused to return them, but lied about having them and instructed his underlings to hide them. Now that's criminal intent, which is why Trump's legal team is doing everything it can to defer his trial at least until he can pardon himself.Comment
