It wasn't out of reach until Biden took over and Russia decided Grandpa Joe was a wimp so they suspended its participation in the New Start treaty and any talk of new treaties. I had actually hoped that his unpredictable nature would be a wild card that kept people in check because they didn't know what he was going to do, but he turned out to be one of the more peaceful presidents in recent years.

It's pretty interesting that all of us have lived during the most peaceful time in the history of humanity and like it or not, much of that is due to American power, including soft power, and alliances like NATO. We are seeing what happens when America retreats from the global stage. It's not good.

It celebrates outright dictators like Kim Yung Un or Putin, as well as authoritarians like Orban in Hungary who come into power democratically and then do everything possible to dismantle the democratic processes to prevent the people from being able to ever change direction again if they want.

Tucker Carlson can't more enthusiastically provide a propaganda platform for Putin so blatantly that even Vlad days later made fun of the complete lack of tough questions and called him out for being such a patsy.

Texas GOP wants a law stipulating that a statewide election be decided by winning the most counties instead of getting the most votes. Yes, because the 358 people in Kenedy County have the inalienable right to the same collective voice as 3 million in Dallas County. That's blatantly anti the concept of democracy.
