That the Lord's basketball team graced our chapel with their presence this morning.
Your chapel is definitely not the closest one to where they must be staying. I guess they didn't want to attend one of the "crap" wards.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
Dig your own grave, and save!

I assumed they stayed at the Golden Nugget like the football team. I guess you are within the JW radius.

Today I learned I hate my ward and the lazy bunch of bums that are my Elders Quorum.
lemmeguess, you were the only one that showed up to a move?
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
We had a move this morning. We had at least 15 people and were done in 30 minutes. :zion:
How many died?

You I learned that if you drive a Yukon or Denali, you should consider stop going to church. They announced in EQ today that we would now be conducting security sweeps in the parking lot every Sunday since one of each of the above mentioned vehicles mentioned were broken into and had their rear seats stolen during Sunday School today. Hopefully they issue use a reliable folding chair to arm ourselves with.

Yeah, pretty much. Reminders don't work, requests at church don't work, and apparently neither do all my attempts at avoiding any kind of guilt tripping or service-by-order. I want them to serve because they want to serve. Because it's what we are supposed to do. Because in my last ward, we were never assigned to do crap like this, we were just notified of the problem and we (emphasis on the plural) showed up and took care of the problem.
