Awesome! I'm very happy for you. I wouldn't mind knowing a few more details if you're willing to provide them.

Bite your tongue. It's very important to me that Lake Powell has as much moisture as possible.

I wish people would narrow it down to snow in the mountains and rain in the valleys.

        • Today was the first time in forever that I had absolutely nothing keeping me from church, but was gonna stay home anyway.

Fifteen minutes before sacrament my best church bro convinced me otherwise. Grateful for him as it was a nice day at church (less Priesthood Meeting, of course).

Several years ago all of the stakes in Vegas held a special fast for an end to the drought. SOOO many prayers for rain. I didn't have the heart to tell them that their prayer was two states off target.

FYI. Rocky Mountain snowpack is still below average this year. I say, pray on!

With all the snow we seem to have had this year, this blows my mind.

I thought that the weather report had indicated that precipitation is above average. Maybe that is not the same as snow pack.

Looks like Utah is at 86% of the annual average.

Here's a Bureau of Reclamation map:

Here's an article from KSL a few weeks ago:

The biggest issue has been that even though the valley's have gotten hit pretty hard the last 2 months, the jet streams have been mostly north-south and have left the mountains rather sparse.
