That's exactly why Thomas isn't an "elite" corner. He's listed at 5'9" but from what I have read everyone says he's lucky to be 5'8". Everyone says he has the talent and speed to play anywhere. If it weren't for his height he'd have major offers. Supposedly Utah was telling him that they see him as a Cliff Harris type player. Also, Thomas told Texas they had 14 days to offer or else he was signing elsewhere. In other news Utah landed Josh Gordon today. A transfer from Baylor.
Gordon had 42 catches for 714 yards and 7 tds last year.
He is a big kid at 6'4 220. Also here is a highlight of his 94 yard td reception last year:
