    Intentional misspelling?

What is so hard about trying to talk a kid into going to UCLA. I just don't understand why they don't do better.

For a stretch of the 80s that 3D has probably blocked out of his memory, UCLA actually had the upper hand between the two LA schools.

And it is a puzzling thing - they actually have a solid football tradition. Westwood is a hell of a lot more livable and lovable than anything in SC's hood. And it's a better school. And it's closer to the coast. And it's got Diddy Riese in the backyard, which would be the clincher for me. I think right now, it all comes down to SC's recent history of dominance, its amazing call cheer girls in those white outfits, and probably the lingering belief that the program will "facilitate" homes in Malibu for the parents of some select blue chip recruits.

Typos are part of your persona and add great value (i.e., they're a heck of a lot of fun). What's to correct? But when junkie says, "Like as an independent is really hard," that's too priceless to ignore. With Ox, I'm just doing everything I can to tweak his warthog-faced buffoonery. (Can one tweak a behavior?)

Calling this an understatement is, well, an understatement. I've always been amused by the number of SC students who live in West L.A. near UCLA.

The same question can be asked re: SC basketball compared to UCLA basketball. Why can't SC consistently field a really good basketball team?

SC has always been the football school.

UCLA has always been the basketball school.

Each program will traditionally have the upper hand over the other in the respective sport of dominance.

Westwood is definitely nicer than the area around SC, without question. Diddy is delish...a nice sugar cinnamon cookie ice cream sandwich. SC has Chanos. Yum.
                    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

For me it would come down to putting on that powder blue or that cardinal red and is their any better looking uniform in college ball than UCLA's.

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Ha! No, the ASU rivals board has been discussing that, but their recruiting dude nixed the story. The rumor actually started on the Arizona board.

Bummer. The rumor made for awesome imagery and provided great grist for rivalry mill.

5 pounds of Macy's select ground beef. (You can save $0.29 per pound over the choice ground beef). Freeze what you don't need for the barbeque, that's counts against your year's supply!

0- Mold ground beef into football shaped patties.
1- Sprinkle on some Atuia All Spice, but not too much. Elder L. Tom Perry's grandson is my Ward's Mission Leader, and he said that while sodium isn't against the WoW, many of the leading brethren in the church are minimizing it in their diets.
2- Splash some Worcestershire sauce on top.
                              3- Toss on the grill.
4- Have some Processed "Dev Duke" Cheese ready to lightly melt on your burger when the time is right.
5- While the burgers are slow cooking, prepare your Cosmondiments:
                              • Matich Mayo
                              • Landon "Baldy" Jaussi sheets of lettuce.
                              • Pitta'd olives (save $0.18 per can by going with the medium!)
                              • "Fat punter in the late 90's" pickle spears
                              • Kozlowski Ketchup
                              • Grey Poupon. (Have the "Poop on U" joke ready once everyone is seated.)
                              • A few slices of Belini Bacon

6- Serve on a toasted Bunn bun.
7- Don't forget the Freedom Fries!
8- When it's all ready, call the crew to the table with a "Rise and shout the Bosco burgers are out."

                              Enjoy!
                              I intend to live forever.
                              So far, so good.

Shoot, I'd stretch it into the 90s when UCLA won more conference titles and won eight straight over USC as well.
