While I don't put much stock in this, perhaps you should at least get it right. It wasn't the 8th best JC RB, it was 8th on his list of all JC players. I'm excited about White because the Utes do have a good track record with JC RBs. Also, good job selectively picking his offers. Here is his full offer list: Utah, Arkansas St, Cincinnati, THEM, Memphis, Memphis, Mississippi, Purdue, and Washington St. I get that it isn't a great list of offers, but it is better than you are making it out to be.

No he won't get more time than Langi. I see him as a complimentary back to Langi if he is successful at Utah. I'm not getting too excited about him, but there are some positive signs.

I think he may get more time than Langi. Langi is a true freshman, and a bit overrated among Utah county and Ute fans. White also has more of a classic college tailback physique. This blurb reinforces my speculation.

If a true gets most of the snaps at RB, then our recruiting sucks. Unless that true is Adrian Peterson, no way should Langi be the feature back from Day 1. He's probably never picked up a blitz in his life, and Chow's offense will require him to run good routes out of the backfield. Langi will redshirt this year before he rushes for 750 yards and it's not even close.

doesn't langi's running style make you worried at all? he reminds me so much of shak in hs. very upright, and used to just overpowering guys at the hs level. you can't last long doing that in the pac10. i hope for langi's sake schramm can correct this.

I view all HS prospects as largely unpolished specimens. It's why I don't watch a lot of their film, and rarely comment on it. The one kid who's film I dissected was Lavelle Peterson's ... and Ute fans can clue you in on him. I damn near brought down Utefans once I discovered his gamefilm online. He was worthy of the hype, but never played in a game at Utah. So I usually pass on it.

Gamefilm of prep players is the internet porn of the sports world. You've got to be really bad for it not to look pretty damn good.
