I think I remember seeing the FSU flag way too damn much a few years ago, so yes? Maybe it was a conference foe thing?

This is one of those critical issues that divert me from doing anything at work. I will contact the Athletic office to find out the answer and return and report.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostI think I remember seeing the FSU flag way too damn much a few years ago, so yes? ShaggyBevo's a great forum. If you have some time, look for the thread, "Shit I found using my metal detector" or something like that. Pure awesomeness.
They have a thread on there making fun of the statues the athletic dept put up of all the athletes that have been through UT over the years. They are all the same statue, painted a little differently and I could not stop laughing when I went throug the thread. Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

By not passing, was BYU RUTS?
[Texas] set a dreadful program record in surrendering 550 rushing yards to a Cougars team that appears to have figured out the read-option offense almost literally overnight. Leading the charge for BYU: quarterback Taysom Hill, who ran for 259 yards on a mere 17 carries. As a team, the Cougs averaged 7.6 yards per carry. All of which brings us to this morbid contemplation: Was there a point Saturday night at which BYU coaches could've made a legitimate claim that going pass-heavy would've qualified as taking their feet off the gas?Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

With the way Taysom was throwing? Yes.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostDon't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

Sorenson has been my favorite whipping boy (not that way, sickos) for the past couple years. I still don't trust him completely (we have a safe word); he has not only made all his kicks, but has made at least two semi-pressured FGs. I was impressed by his make on the bad snap.
With all that said, Texas has two NFL caliber kickers. In fact their FG kicker and punter were their best players on Saturday. At halftime I saw the placekicker make a 70 yard FG (from that tee thingy).

I am shocked Sorensons career long is only 46 yards. He routinely kicked 50+ in high school.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostSorenson has been my favorite whipping boy (not that way, sickos) for the past couple years. The Texas punter was unreal.

I've never been able to get why a guy with a serious back injury would be anyone's whipping boy. He took it on the chin on CB as well. Very few people took the injury into account when trying to explain his performance last year. Back injuries are tough for anyone but for soccer style kickers it's especially brutal.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostSorenson has been my favorite whipping boy (not that way, sickos) for the past couple years. I'm hoping he will regain his entire high school form and power. If he does he will most likely have a shot at the NFL.

One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

I believe religion has much inherent good and has born many good fruits.
