I think it will be Peterson to USC and Jon Gruden (who has said he has interest in coaching at the college level) to Texas. I also think Gruden won't last long at Texas.

But I expect Peterson to use Texas interest as leverage to get USC to loosen the purse strings.Originally posted by UVACoug View PostI think it will be Peterson to USC and Jon Gruden (who has said he has interest in coaching at the college level) to Texas. I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

Yeah, beating the crap out of Texas was too easy. Who else you got?Originally posted by UVACoug View PostNot to be a downer, but BYU ensured yesterday that Texas will never play in LES again."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

Why no Bronco love? How high will Peterson's stock still be if BSU has a down year (which looks possible after that Washington game)?Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Our worst fears could be coming to fruition.
Following the Texas Longhorns’ upset loss to BYU, passionate football fans across Alabama were appalled to learn that Nick Saban, architect of the current Crimson Tide football dynasty, will be traveling to Texas this weekend as predicted by many West Georgia residents over the past few seasons. Under strict condition of anonymity, sources close to the Alabama program have confirmed that Saban is in fact ticketed on a flight to Texas in the latter part of the week. With Mack Brown finding himself squarely on the hot seat, one can only assume that the Texas AD will pull out all the stops in effort to ensure that Saban’s trip is of the one-way variety.

I really don't think Bronco has any interest in either job, and I don't blame him. You think the politics are bad at BYU?Originally posted by myboynoah View PostWhy no Bronco love? How high will Peterson's stock still be if BSU has a down year (which looks possible after that Washington game)?

I'm not, they are a good program. I don't care which of SU's theories you espouse, all of written history or snapshot in time, USC and Alabama are miles ahead of Texas. Texas is miles ahead of Oregon.Originally posted by Surfah View PostTexas isn't that far behind. Why are you so down on Texas?
Texas has done a great job marketing this idea that Texas Longhorn football is the beginning and end of football. Sadly how things are advertised isn't always reality.Get confident, stupid
