Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

Any sufficiently complicated platform contains an ad hoc, informally-specified, bug-ridden, slow implementation of half of a functional programming language.

If I remember correctly, he [Viking] didn't get one of those pocket US Constitutions in his Christmas stocking. I had written out a nice response in regards to this (Pocketbook Constitution this past Christmas) and how can a person not talk to his Mom but complain to her about not getting one..Originally posted by Paperback Writer View PostIf I remember correctly, he [Viking] didn't get one of those pocket US Constitutions in his Christmas stocking. But then I remember he did this over email.. So he doesn't speak to his Mom in person but speaks to her via text, email etc..
Seems to be stretching the "No Conversation bit" a little...

They should make Penn State put up a statue of JoPa smiling with his arm around Jerry Sandusky with Jerry holding a 10 year boy's hand."In conclusion, let me give a shout-out to dirty sex. What a great thing it is" - Northwestcoug

Some one needs to make a T-Shirt stating the obvious..
Penn St. The only place where idiots still think it is about them. Founded in 1855. Disgraceful since 1994..

Is there a reason we should care about "being humane" to PSU (Romney would love the concept of showing "humanity" to an institution (they're people too!))? Ironically, that's precisely the reason Spanier gave for not turning in Sandusky (it wouldn't be the "humane" option).
The institution is rotted. Time to replant and see what we can get from the next harvest.

If this is their reaction to the penalty they got - I'm actually afraid of what their reaction to the death penalty would've been.
I think what they got has resulted in some folks saying it wasn't enough and others saying it was too much. So from that perspective, maybe it was about right (I'm still on the "not enough" bandwagon officially).
But I can see how the death penalty could've turned the school and players into even greater martyrs than they already are.
I'm torn - I'm frustrated that they just don't seem to get it. But at this point I'm not sure anything would help them get it either.
