What else are you going to measure a high school QB on? His long hair and six pack abs?

Clearly D-1 coaches thought Lark was better that is why he had so many offers and Riley had 1 to Utah State.

It is not like you get much time to sit down and break down film with them or watch them command a huddle. You basically have a few one on one meetings to see how they are as a person and watch game tape. That is why there are so many hits and misses in recruiting.

Coming out of highschool the only clear difference between Lark and NElson was that Lark was bigger, stronger, had comparable speed, and was the better D-1 prospect.

Who said they were? By the way, thanks for being honest about your vast football IQ.

I don't disagree with you, and I'm not sure Shaka would either. I think its pretty clear that Lark was the better college QB prospect.

But for whatever reason, the coaches have decided now that Nelson is a better college QB. Either that, or the coaches have some other reason for not playing Lark over Nelson. I would hope that at this point, the best player would be playing.

Now you're beginning to see my point. We can remain non-enemies.

This is what I'd say if I were Bronco.

If Riley goes down, and you refuse to come off redshirt, that's fine. But most likely we would put Hill in. And then you'd be battling a guy with starts under his belt for the job in 2013. So it's up to you.

I don't think there's any way they'd put Hill in -- hopefully they learned their lesson with Heaps. It would be either Lark or Munns.

My problem is that I can't figure out what exactly is being argued.

Most promising prospect coming out of high school? Lark
Which one has excelled more in college? Nelson

These are BYU coaches we are talking about the best player does not always play. The player most likely to star in the remake of RUDY is the one that will play.

Homeschool football doesnt count. This is rich. Keep it coming fellas.
How many downs of CFB have you played?

I am not sure I remember either. After about two exchanges with people on this board I realize I dont even care and I lose interest.

Lark or Riley, Riley or Jake. Just wins some meaningful games next year.

                                On that we can agree.
