Yikes, that would make it hard to continue donating. I guess it helps keep things cheaper. There isn't such a thing as a one time donation getting seats up here.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View PostBYU Cougar Club seats are not guaranteed year to year. Your donation only buys you a guaranteed slot in the draw - not a guaranteed seat location. If more people donate at a higher level than you, you get bumped down.
In order for me to move to the next club level, I would have to cough up a $10K one-time donation
Get confident, stupid

I'm digging Bronco's comments on Ziggy - i.e. that he will be used in pass rushing situations and that he's made huge progress over the summer.
There was a lot of justifiable skepticism about whether Ziggy wld amount to anything (and he still hasn't) but the facts are (a) he has the size, speed and raw physical ability (b) he's evidently shown Bronco enough improvement in terms of technique and assignments that he's ready to let him into the rotation.
He's gonna be a crowd favorite.Ute-ī sunt fīmī differtī

Yep and you have to send them $1,000 a year in addition to the price of your seats to get your seats.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View PostBYU Cougar Club seats are not guaranteed year to year. I think I am justified in getting pissed off when some punk BYU student tells me to shut up when I say the home schedule needs to improve. He goes to the games subsidized by others. No wonder college students are liberals. They don't know how the real world works.

punks or not every student should go to the games for free, that's how you ensure donations from future alumni like byu71.Originally posted by byu71 View PostYep and you have to send them $1,000 a year in addition to the price of your seats to get your seats.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

That is a good point. Alums like '71 donate though because they win. I was an Aggie fan, even while going to BYU. However, Lavell got it going and I jumped on the bandwaggon.Originally posted by pellegrino View Postpunks or not every student should go to the games for free, that's how you ensure donations from future alumni like byu71.

Alums like Jacob don't donate and never will.Originally posted by byu71 View PostThat is a good point. Alums like '71 donate though because they win. I was an Aggie fan, even while going to BYU. However, Lavell got it going and I jumped on the bandwaggon.
But they deeply appreciate the subsidy.

He's gonna be a crowd favorite."When you're 6'6" and you have wingspan of 7'1" and you weigh 265 lbs and you run a 4.5 (40)...you've gotta find a place for him."So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
